This was a rare opportunity (and privilege) to be involved in extension of a village. Designed by CONSARC Design new village style dwellings were built around common Village Greens. We were responsible for designing, specifying and supervising the tree, boundary and border planting schemes. In addition we also were responsible for the planting of strategically positioned mature trees in the Parkland Landscape of Castle Leslie Estate. It is thought that one of the last persons to plant trees in the parkland was non other the Capability Brown. Wow!
